About Me
My name is Alison. I'm an attorney and human rights activist, mom to two amazing young men, and the wife of a veterinarian. I'm also a queer woman with tattoos and wild hair and a BIG MOUTH living in the very red heart of Central Florida. I have a LOT to say, so two cents just wouldn't do! I've been writing since I was a preteen, mostly as a form of self-administered therapy. As you may have heard, things here in the US are a little hairy right now and not in that "ooh so snuggly" kind of way. Like, at all. So this page, more than anything, is a space for me to share my thoughts and feelings on current events, as well as the creative writing that continues to be my outlet.
